Reflection

This quote is trying to persuade the reader to be positive and look at yourself the way you would want to become. Meaning you see a dumb unsuccessful girl then that’s what you are going to be because you are going to start believing it and becoming it. So every time you look at the mirror stop and think what you want to become what your plans for the future are, look at yourself and start seeing something more because you could be anything you want. For example every time I see myself in the mirror I just see myself a regular teenager hoping to achieve her goals and now that think about I have to start thinking what I want and start being it because that’s the only way you are going to do something about it and make your dreams come true. I would want to see myself as a successful lady when I look at myself in the mirror I’m proud of myself and look back to just see everything I have accomplished.

Marketing Manager

Duties and responsibilities

Marketing managers create goals, identify areas of strength and weakness within a company so these issues can be leveraged or better strengthened to reach the desired outcome for the business. All businesses are in business to make money. Marketing managers help businesses make money through communication with customers. A marketing manager performs many duties aimed at developing and implementing the long- and short-term marketing strategies of his employer. The broad scope of this task requires him to interact heavily with various departments of his firm, including research and development, manufacturing, supply chain, sales and, in some industries, legal and compliance. Depending on the size of his organization, a marketing manager may also oversee a team of junior marketing professionals.

Salary

Marketing managers earned a median annual wage of $123,220 in 2013, according to the BLS.

Education

To be a marketing manager, you will need to have a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or other field related to the industry you work in. If you work while going to school, you may choose to get a business degree online.

Reflection

Yes I would defiantly love to become a marketing manager not only because the paying is really high but also because I’m interested and willing to work at it. I think it would be really fun I would not only be working but learning in some way new techniques to how to get the business to earn a profit because that’s the goal of every organization. The fact that I’m taking a college class every Saturday and its really interesting I’m just learning the basics of business but if I were to go to college I would like to get a major in business. I don’t want to sound ambitious even though I am but with all that money I would be earning I want to make my own business and if not an organization to help the poor like with money what can’t you do right? I think that I would spend every dollar wisely donating; giving to the people in need, church I have many goals to achieve and marketing would be one of them.

Reflection

 I certainly agree with this statement from Henry Thoreau because it’s true. You just need to find a way to make sense to it for example his basically telling you that if you do good for whatever reason it would never fail and the result would be there for you. Goodness is the only thing that just by doing it, it would bring you goodness. You do what’s right and you are going to get what you wanted.

MOST WATERMELONS CHOPPED ON THE STOMACH IN ONE MINUTE

The world record that fascinated me the most was the most watermelons chopped on the stomach in one minute. I think it’s really interesting and I would like to see it myself how they do it. I wonder if it isn’t painful for the lady that’s laying down waiting for the guy to chop the watermelons on her stomachs.      The record is 25 watermelons in one minute, how cool. Yes I would like to break a record I mean it sounds really interesting and fascinating to know that you have done something extraordinary and you’re being awarded to do it. I still don’t know what I would like to do but probably I would soon.

Reflection

This is a very good statement from Theodore Hesburgh because his right why do something if it’s not right in the first place. You have to do what you think it’s right in order to be a good person. For example all your friends are partying and getting high you know it’s wrong but you think you won’t look cool just because everyone is doing that. No instead you have to do what’s right and associate yourself with people like you people that are going to help you succeed in life not the other way around.  To be real at the end its just you and God everyone else leaves you because that’s simply how life is.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Duties and Responsibilities

Planning and managing patient care according to each patient's needs. Interviewing patients and recording their medical history. Obtaining patient vital signs and escorting patients to their rooms.

Salary

In May 2011, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported an average income of $42,040 annually.

Education

Starting a career as a licensed practical nurse begins with completion of a state-approved training program. Available at technical schools, community colleges and hospitals, LPN programs typically last one year and result in a diploma. Curricula include large amounts of practical experience in a clinical setting.

Reflection

I would probably want to become a licensed practical nurse because I like helping people and I’m into anything that has to do with medicine. Also I would want to study and become that because it seems very easy and you get to work in an environment where you feel happy and pleasant. 

Home Health Aide

Duties and Responsibilities

Performs home management tasks including housekeeping, laundry, shopping and errands and prepares and serves simple modified diets according to instruction and assists with feeding as necessary. They need to assists with bathing, dressing and grooming. Also with toileting, including use of bedpan, commode or toilet and transfers and ambulation including use of cane, walker, and wheelchair

Salary

$9.00 per hour

Education

There are no formal education requirements for home health and personal care aides, but most aides have a high school diploma.

Reflection

Yes I would like work in home health aide because I like taking care of elders and I think it would be really fun. In many ways they have stories to tell me and lessons and if I get close to them they would even give me advises and knowing that if something goes wrong with she or he I can be there to help them and if they need someone I would be there. Also there have been cases when their own children don’t want to deal with them so in that case I would be happy to be there.
