Electrocardiograph Technician
Duties and Responsibilities
An electrocardiogram technician performs an ECG by
attaching electrodes to a patient and then pulling switches on an ECG machine
to trace electrical impulses transmitted by the heart. A doctor then inspects
these readings to analyze the patient's heart condition.
Salary
Annually an electrocardiograph technician gets $34,385.
Education
Most EKG technicians hold a high school diploma or its
equivalent and receive on-the-job training. Although certification isn't
required.
Reflection
No I would not like to become a electrocardiograph technician
because I don’t really like that not to offend anyone that works in that it
seems kind of boring and I’m more into adventurous and traveling.
