Student success statement
“Our very business in life not to get ahead of others…. But to get ahead of ourselves”
          By; Thomas S. Monson

This quote is really true. It’s better to get ahead or ourselves than of others, the reason why is that if you're always trying to compete with theirs you're  never going to know how good you’re at something. Maybe if you just compete with yourself then you're going  to know how good you are and maybe get a little better.

Allopathic Physicians (M.D)
Duties and Responsibilities.
Allopathic doctors are also called as medical doctors and are responsible for diagnosing and treating the conditions that affect the human body. An allopathic doctor diagnoses the body conditions using tests and examinations and prescribes medications to their patients based on their findings. Allopathic doctors provide care for specific groups of people like people above the age 65 and for children. Allopathic doctors can work in any one of the specialties within their profession like gynecology, surgery, psychiatry or general medicine.
Salary:
The average annual salary for an allopathic physician varies by specialty. In November 2009, the average annual salary for general practice physicians without a specialty was between $50,868 and $179,510, according to Payscale.com.
Education:

Doctors typically receive a four-year bachelor's degree and then attend medical school for four more years, after which a three- to eight-year residency is required to practice medicine independently. Allopathic physicians must pass state medical licensing exams before beginning their residency and usually are required to pass a second exam at the end of their residency to gain certification in their field of specialty.

No I would not like to be a allopathic Physician because it’s like 8 years of studying and I would like to work and study something more easier!

     Choose The Right!!!
                  Student success Statement
“Real wealth is not so much what we have as what we are “

                                            By: Sterling W. Sill

This quote is really important because its true some people might think wealth is about the money but it’s not its actually what we are. We need to be happy and appreciative too.
Acupuncture
Duties and responsibilities
Acupuncture professionals are trained to treat the entire individual rather than the specific illness or condition. They take into account a patient's physical, mental and emotional condition in order to determine the proper course of treatment. In addition to providing acupuncture therapy, practitioners help their patients achieve balance and wellness in their everyday lives.
Salary
$72,000 per year
Education
This type of alternative medicine requires in-depth study of the human body and the physiological effects of the treatment on the body, so many students seeking enrollment into an acupuncture program have a background in medicine, biology, psychology or neurobiology. Applicants to acupuncture programs should have an undergraduate degree; an associate's degree is common, because a bachelor's degree in acupuncture is not typically available. Other prerequisites for acupuncture programs include current Hepatitis B and tuberculosis skin tests and CPR certification, because students participate in clinical internships. An essay, a letter of recommendation and GRE scores are other common program requirements. The ideal candidate for the acupuncture training program should demonstrate excellent observation, communication and motor skills, be comfortable working independently and have compassion for others.

Reflection

No I would not want to be acupuncturists because I don’t like that career it’s too boring.

Choose The Right!!!!!
Student Success Statement
“You cannot do wrong and feel right. It’s impossible.”
                     Ezra T. Benson

In my mind I think that’s right once you do something wrong you might feel like it’s right at first but once you start analyzing it you’re going to feel wrong as well . So might as well do what’s right so you could feel proud of yourself instead of disappointed and regretting it. I like that quote! It like motivates me to do Good .
Acupressure
Duties and responsibilities:
Acupressure is an ancient Chinese healing art that is similar to acupuncture, but does not use needles. Instead, body pressure points are manipulated by specially trained massage therapists. Acupressure professionals may earn certificates and degrees at colleges, massage schools and independent facilities to obtain hands-on massage instruction and courses on Asian medicine.
Salary: $54,574 per year
Education: At a minimum, applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED certificate to become an acupressure professional. The most common option for candidates to learn the art of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a 1-year certificate program, with associate's degree programs as another option. When acupressure training is complete, students must meet all state qualifications before working as professional acupressure specialists in spas, salons or health care facilities.
Reflection

No i would not like to be an acupressure because I would honestly feel weird touching other peoples body. Also I have enough with my dear father asking me to massage his back.
